H-A-double L-O-W-double E-N decorating.....

Gotta start with a special thanks to Mrs. Kaduce, my elementary music teach, who taught me that lovely song many years ago and now I cannot spell that work with out singing it first!!!

I spent my Sunday making Halloween decorations for my house.  I never use to decorate for any holiday but Christmas but now that I have a wonderful little child I decided to start making decor for us to put up each holiday.  Here are some great photo's of my decorating skills (and skills they are :)

Of course I got this idea from Pinterest, yes it is leaning, and yes it has already fallen over once....

I cheated on this one, I bought it at a garage sale for $2...heheheh

Sample Sunday at the Creamery!

Just another day date!!  Landon and Evie pretty much hate each other in real life, we force them to be together just so that Megan and I can hang out.  Almost every time they are together some sort of raging war breaks out between the two of them over pretty much nothing and the "date" is over!!  Well today we took them to the Picked Fence Creamery in Woodward for "Sample Sunday".  It is exactly as it sounds, a Sunday filled with sampling... We sampled wine, cheese, dips, ice cream and of course a brownie sundae!  There were also pony rides for the kids, not sure how that was going to go down for those two but it was not too shabby.  Megan and I both claim we were mildly molested by the pony guy because he touched our hand...... seriously now.
Kicked off the excitement by looking at baby cows!

Hi Cow!!

Landon's devil look....

Evie the cowgirl going for a pony ride!

Weeee pony...

She did so good!

Daddy can I get a pony for Christmas?

Landon's turn!

Uh oh, the horse is freaking out and Landon is not concerned.

He smiled the whole time!!!
Now some playtime in the park.... There were some dirty "pre-teens" there and Evie was very interested in hanging out with them.  Her mother did not approve the 7 yr old's relationship with the slightly less dirty kid walking the dog... Oh the fun times!
Landon loves the slides!

Weeee mom!!

Evie getting adventurous.

Here I go again!

Sweetest face I've seen all day!! :)

Climbing the stairs for the bigger slide.

Here I come mom!! 1...2...3... GGGOOO (that's what he says every time)

WEEEEEE!!

Then you clap for him and get this face!!

Thanks for the push Megan!
And the swinging concludes our Sunday Funday..... that use to mean an entirely different thing a few years ago....

Pumpkin Painting with the Kiddos!

After Landon picked out 164 pumpkins, I thought it would be nice if he invited his lady over for some pumpkin painting fun!  And that it was!!  Here are numerous photo's giving you play by play of 1yr olds painting.........
Starting off ok, Landon already got confused about which end to paint with...

Picaso over here!

The glitter paint was a must.

Masterpiece by Evie!

Landon..... not so much....

He would rather yell at his paint

Time out for snacks and play time.

Landon is special....

The work bench after some hard core painting.

Landon cleaning up

Then cleaning his face....

Evie wants a ride with the pumpkin.

The kids masterpiece's .... Now where to put these beauties?

~~Pumpkin Time~~

There is a cute little pumpkin farm out side of Madrid called Frey Pumpkin Patch.  Landon and I went to pick out some pumpkins to make my many Pinterest projects..... Landon found a little dump truck and freaked out until I let him play with it, such a sweet angel.  He picked out a crap load of little pumpkins and dropped half of them on the ground so I felt the need to buy them all!!
He was also fascinated with the clippers in the wagon for clipping the pumpkin vines, he refused to put them down!
