Landon being NAUGHTY

If anybody has ever met my sweet little Landon you would assume he is just a precious little angel....... that is not always the case as seen below.

This is let's unroll all the toilet paper and play with it on the floor.  We now keep it in a pile on the floor, you have to find the end and rip a little off whenever you need it.

 Just because they are miniature bottles of booze does not mean they are for miniature people.  Landon, got a little captain in ya?

 Landon rips all my headbands out of the drawer in the bathroom then tries to put them on.  At least he knows how to wear them.

 This is what I like to call Landon "cleaning" he makes more of a mess doing this to begin with.  He knocks everything over then loads it into his truck!

Just a nibble!! He tries to eat my toes if I am not wearing socks.

  Just standing around drinking his milk, after he took all the clothes out of the clothes basket behind him.

 This is partially Jared's excellent parenting skills, but Landon was helping unload the dishwasher, he grabs all the butter knives out and plays with them on the floor.....

Jared was gone all weekend in Davenport working on some landscaping at his brothers place.

Craftin ain't no thang.....

Where do I begin.......

Megan and Miss Evie joined Landon and I, as we drove around the country side searching for the infamous JUNK GYPSY!  Megan questioned my navigational skills as we drove north and I just decided we drove far enough and needed to turn East.  We got there without being lost, and I am awesome.  Moral of this story is, don't doubt me I am amazing at everything ; )

The Junk Gypsy is in Randall and she is looney, she did mention that looking at other peoples old pictures makes her heart cry....... yeah we laughed at her the entire time we were in the store.  My sisters only warning to Megan was "do no look in the dresser drawers, even if she asks you to".  First thing out of her crazy mouth when we walk in is to make sure we look in the dresser drawers because they are stuffed with goodies.  I didn't realize old bras and undies are considered goodies!!!  

After that amazing experience we went to Story City and checked out some stores.  I did manage to buy a Journey concert tour shirt from 2006 and glorious Too Legit To Quit shirt, you will see my creation later on.  We went to a little Cafe in Story City where the kids literally destroyed the place!!  At one point Evie was army crawling and eating cheerios off the floor.  They were giving out brownie samples and they skipped our table not once but TWICE!!! They wanted us out, immediately..........

This beauty is for my sissy who's wedding shower is next weekend.  These are her kitchen colors and since she is a semi-master chef, she needs an apron to protect her clothing during all the splashing of cooking ingredients..... (everything above is not true :)

Aren't they cute!!! They are old T-shirts cut and sewn into rompers!!  I love them, I'm going to make dozen's out of funny old shirts Jared has!!

Ok, so these are for no reason at all but I made them and Megan kind of talked me into selling some of the stuff on Etsy so I listed the quilt, we will see how it goes :)

 

 Ruffle butts!!!! How could you not love this!!

So I bought this cute purse a while ago to turn it into a camera bag because I don't want to carry that large ugly black back with camera stuff around.  I finally bought the foam to make the dividers/sides/bottom.  I had gotten the fabric from the scrap bin, and it is sooooo cute. Here are some inside shots of my newly improved camera bag!

 

New Faucets, whooop whooop

Quick little showing of the faucet update in our upstairs bathroom.

When we moved in they were gold, we used metal spray paint and painted them this color...

 

Which was apparently brushed nickle, it looked fine for a while but the paint is chipping and we never painted the drain,  kind of looks like pure crap now.
As we were shopping Menards in Waterloo we came across these amazing faucets even better is that they are on sale!!!  Originally 89.99 today we purchased them for 39.00 each!!!  Oh yeah that's right, 78.99 for two faucets, still less than the original price of just one!!

Boooom LOVE IT!!!   Jared is such a handy man that we now don't have cold water..... hahahahaha yeah we don't need that I suppose!!  Please somebody come fix this....

Landon's 1st Birthday

My sweet baby boy is 1 year old!!!!  (tomorrow ;)

We had an amazing day in Charles City on Saturday for Landon's 1st birthday party with our families.  The Pizza Ranch was more than accommodating for our group and we had a FUN time.

The lovely decor I made with my handy crafting skills, 2 banners and posters of his pictures over the last year!

Landon and Cole Howe haven't really gotten to hang out since they were teeny tiny, my how they have changed...

Easter Sunday

Happy Easter everyone!!!

 No traveling for us today, just some family time.  This morning we went into Ames for some brunch at Lucallans. It was delicious!!  After looking at flowers at Lowe's and getting some groceries we headed home to play outside.

Randon Landon Updates

Photos and video's from my phone.  Small updates on Landon's skills.

The story here is Landon was trying to eat the blow dryer and his spoon at the same time.  Later I found those two dirty socks in the drawer in the bathroom. Hey, he likes to put things away : )

Finally installed the next stage car seat, he was getting toooo heavy to carry in the carrier.  Weighed him today and he is 21.6 pounds, such a big boy.  Did I mention he looks adorable in hats!!

This was a spaghetti massacre... Jared was leaning down to help Landon with something and all of his spaghetti slid off his plate on to poor Landons head and all over the floor!!!
