Crafters Weekend with the Sis

This wonderful Easter weekend my sister, Brittney decided to come down to good ole' Madrid for some major crafting.  I recently got a Cricut and I talk it up all the time.  So she swung into Kamrar and picked up her future MIL's Cricut and all her attachments.... let me tell you, it made for 2 long amazing days of crafting.  I didn't get any pictures of Brittney's stuff but here are some of the crafting I did.

Happy Easter Bunting

Made this with my cricut and connected it together with scrapbooking brads.

Uppercase living doesn't have anything on me!!

Lovely new addition to my front door, right below my homemade wreath...

This next project was from last weekend, I covered these wooden letters with scrap book paper and stapled some ribbon to the back.  Hung some twine on the wall like a clothes line, and this is the amazing outcome.

Now for some sewing!!!!
Last week I hit up Duck Worth Wearing in Ames.   It's a children's clothes consignment shop and it is FREAKING AWESOME!!  I went in to grab a couple pairs of shorts and some shoes for Landon, yeah $60 later.............  I picked up a couple of girls hoodies with every intent of jazzing them up a little, and I did.

This cute little GAP hoodie was under $7 and the fabric was a remnant for $2.  Under $10 you get this adorable little jacket!! I stole it from pinterest of course.  Here is the original link.   Miss Evie get's this for her birthday, since I jumped the gun on giving her the dress I needed to come up with something else :)

Landon loves modeling these frilly little numbers!!  This one is for Miss Ayva who is due any minute now!!  This sweatshirt was under $4 and the fabric I had but probably around $3.  I love being cheap and crafty. :)

(Landon usually only wears one shoe, because his right foot is sooooo fat I can barely keep it in a shoe, also he eats anything and everything.  In one photo he was eating a tree root, this one is grass and some weeds... I love this kid)

  1. Awesome crafts, but you have already done trauma to that poor boy that can never be forgotten. I love it!
