Landon's 12 Month Photo's

As you know I'm a DIYer, aka (cheap).....  I got a camera for Christmas and have been playing with it ever since.  Today Megan and her daughter Evie came over to help with Landon's 1 year pic's.  Here are some good ones, and of course some bad ones :)  ...

Had a wonderful play date with Miss Evie and her mama Megan...  We walked around Madrid and went to a vendors fair, checked out the local businesses.  The kids had a wonderful photo shoot around town also.

Our street is full of little boys and by full I mean 2 on one side of me and 1 on the other......  Landon is totally jealous of all the sweet toys Kyle and Sawyer Kruckenberg have next door, I know this because every single time we are outside he stares at them like a creeper and will not pay attention to anything else!!!  Which is rather inconvenient when I am trying to take pictures of his adorable little face!!!

Last week on a Thursday I believe, it was almost 80 degrees outside, so we sat outside on our big quilt and attempted to play and take cute pictures.

You may be thinking.... "who lets their kid eat leaves?".... well after pulling the 13th leaf out of his mouth I decided hell with it, eat them.  He then devoured 3 leaves and was finished.  BOOOMM now he doesn't eat leaves!!

HHIII!! That's Landon's first word, he is copying daddy on the phone right now.. PRECIOUS!!!

For all you grandparents that are trying to talk to Landon on the phone and he is never saying anything just squealing and laughing, this is what it looks like.  Phone's really excite him especially when he can hear grandma or grandpa's voice on the other side!!  This is also why the phone call is ended abruptly, because he slap's the heck out of the phone......


The Kruckenberg boys got the sweetest GATOR for Christmas last year and they are cruising the yards showing off their moves, well Landon really enjoys this so they come over to play.  At one point I did tell Kyle to drive around and pick up the stick in my yard, he said can I put them in my Gator?  Oh hell yes Kyle you can put them in your gator.  (no I did not say hell to the tiny child)...  He then dumped them back at his yard where he ran them over several times as we watched..... that kid is AWESOME!! :)

11 months old and adorable as ever.  Below are photo's of him modeling his new tuxedo that he got for auntie Brittney's wedding in June.  Doesn't he look fabulous?

Sunday Funday!!

Well Landon being the social butterfly that he is, met up with a friend for some brunch.  Ms. Ansley Gillman.  And by had brunch, I mean throw everything on the floor including cups and books and make the moms pick them up 13 times while I slammed a mimosa like it was a bottle of water after a 10 mile run....

After the fun brunch we went to Wells Fargo Arena to watch the Iowa Energy Basketball team play the Sioux City something or others.  Well they lost, but we did get to watch some young gymnasts fall on their heads, and some old grannies perform a kick line at the halftime show.... WOW!!!

Brittney's Big 2-6

Well my little baby sister turned 26 last Saturday, she is getting so old :)

We traveled to Janesville, IA for some delicious STEAKKKKK, at Jack and Arnie's.  To share in this monumental event was the Howe's, Morty the Warty (enjoyed Pepsi's all night), Jenna Beving and DREWS.....

After eating about $400 worth of food between the 8 of us we traveled to a little whole in the wall across the street where Jared and Dustin got verbally harassed by drunks as they played some Jay-Z on the jukebox... time to go!!!!

Cheers for your B-day!

At Brittney's request we hit up Denver, IA she has a work employee that bartenders at "Bart's End Zone" on the weekends and she was going to HOOK US UP!!  Well there was only 4 people in the bar when we got there and 2 of them were high on heroin (which we had a 15 minute conversation about how you "do" heroin... sorry we just don't know our drugs very well).  We played the crap out of country music until everybody left and we took over that shit!!!  Pretty sure they were practically giving drinks away because at one point I ordered 8 shots and it was $10 (HELLS YEAH).  The bartender was the woman I accused of being a drug dealer in a previous post, turns out she's not, my bad!  For some reason the front of the bar was made into some sort of 1970's living room.  The guys were exposed to Herpes, HIV and AIDS when they turned one of the couches into a pull out bed for the night!

There was a lot of dancing, singing (I asked the bartender if there was a microphone somewhere for me to "turn this shit into karaoke)"..... WOW!!!  Well at least I didn't try to make a new boyfriend with the middle aged man names Amos, sitting at the bar..... JENNA!!

I felt the need to harass Drew's, by pulling his hood up and tieing it off so that he could only see out of a tiny circle.  His way of "getting me back" was to try to kiss me........ he would yell I'm going to kiss you, and come after me.  WTH Drew's you need a woman obviously!!

We all got wasted and everybody passed out on the way home.

The women turned in for the night leaving the men to continue drinking.  Apparently Jared didn't know which bedroom I was sleeping in so he cuddled up with Laura before her husband came in and kicked him out, only after he laid in my bed for a while because he didn't want to wake Jared up because he was snoring so loud..... WTF Jared!!!!!  I had to wake them up the next day so that Jared could get his shirt, and phone out of there room.  To top everything off everybody had puked the next day which included my sister running from her room to the bathroom puking the whole way, on the carpet, then leaving a sign on the closed bathroom door DO NOT ENTER, BBAAHHHAAAAHHAAA oh don't worry I WON'T!!!  We got about 1 mile down the road before I got out of the car and did my share of barfing, you know it's a good night if you get rid of all the calories you just put in the night before.
